2010 is set to be an exciting year for buses at MAN Nutzfahrzeuge, with not one but two major milestones for both bus brands.
The new Bus Forum will open directly adjacent to the MAN headquarters in Munich.
The first "MAN BusDays" will be held in March, delivering the latest information on new technologies, and also heralding the launch of celebrations for NEOPLAN's 75th anniversary.
MAN BusDays will open on 18 March. Among various city bus topics MAN will present its Lion’s City Hybrid series coach that day. 19 March will be dedicated to coaches, with a programme including further talks and discussions. On 20 March, the open visitor’s day, safety training courses and children's activities will complement the events on offer.
The highlight of the MAN BusDays will be the official inauguration of the new Bus Forum in Munich. In this exclusive atmosphere customers can collect their NEOPLAN coaches or MAN city buses. At the same time the Bus Forum invites visitors to explore the history and significance of the two traditional brands.
A range of driver safety courses will be held during MAN BusDays.
MAN will celebrate the anniversary throughout 2010 under the motto "NEOPLAN - 75 YEARS moving ideas“. A broad range of events is planned, from the presentation of the custom NEOPLAN Cityliner model "Spirit75 Edition“, international roadshows and a host of vintage vehicle meets to the presentation of a new and innovative NEOPLAN model at the 2010 IAA Commercial Vehicles trade show in Hanover.
