The interior of the Starliner shows just what a comfortable experience coach tours can be for today’s passengers. In the 5-star version (with a 900 mm space between seats) it provides 50 seats and in the 4-star class (with an 830 mm space between seats) up to 54 seats. Generous seats for the driver and tour guide are a matter of course. The new seating designed exclusively for NEOPLAN fulfils all of today’s ergonomic requirements. Beside this it provides variable lumbar support.

With the innovative design of the ceiling the NEOPLAN designer Andrea Lipp has achieved a perfect interplay of technology and aesthetics. At the sides the flat extension of the dome opens out on to the sky and creates an interior glowing with transparent airiness and a feeling of spaciousness.

The innovative, tinted panoramic windows slant slightly inwards and intensify the impression of openness in the interior.

The outstanding views permitted by the huge upper windscreen are highly appealing. An aesthetic note is lent by the eye-catching line with burr-walnut cladding in the entrance area. The driver’s workplace is separated functionally from the feel-good area for the passengers. 

Ample luggage rack flaps give the vehicle an aeroplane-style feeling. When the flaps are closed the entire hand luggage is securely stowed.

Innovative service sets in the interior ceiling with discreet LED reading lamps let the stars of the night sky sparkle direct into the vehicle. The reading lamps are operated by the innovative touch-function of the central LED: The passenger just has to touch the lens to noiselessly switch the reading light on or off.

Acoustic refinement is also guaranteed. Thanks to the new “surface sound“ loudspeaker system passengers can enjoy an optimal sound at all seats. Standard loudspeakers are thus superfluous and the ceiling serves resonator providing the ultimate acoustic experience.
